ENGINEERING CUP

Welcome to Sports department, where you can bring the glory back to your own courses. By representing your courses, give all your best and involve in competitions in order to achieve one goal – The Engineering Cup.

The Engineering Cup represents the honour that is given to the course which gets the highest score by accumulating the medals from various of sports. This year, we have selected 4 sports which includes badminton, futsal, captain ball and dodge ball.

Fortune favours the bold. Find your teammates (coursemates) and register now! See you in the court.

Sports available

badminton

Participation is only open for students from the engineering faculty of UM.
The categories available are men double, women double and mixed double.
1 person can only participate in one category. Participation is confirmed upon payment.
Number of teams from each department:

- 4 for men double.

- 3 for women double

- 2 for mixed double

Registration fee for each team is RM10.00.

Captain ball

Participation is open to all UM students.
Each team should consist of 8 people. (At least 2 engineering students in each team)***
Only 8 teams will involve in the captain ball competition.
Participation is confirmed upon payment.
Registration fee for each team is RM64.00.

Dodge ball

Participation is open for students from the engineering faculty of UM.
Each team should consist of 8 people. (Mix gender and Maximum 5 males)***
Only 10 teams will involve in the dodge ball competition. The maximum number of team for each department is 2.
Participation is confirmed upon payment.
Registration fee for each team is RM40.00.

Only mens futsal is available.
Only 10 teams will involve in the dodge ball competition. The maximum number of team for each department is 2.

7 players per team (including 2 substitutes)
Registration fee for each team is RM35.00.
